How a dig works
Each dig you get 3 pickaxe swings (rolls) of five ore dice.
After any roll, tap dice to HOLD them in the pan, then roll the rest again.
When you're done, bank the dice into one open box on your assay card.
13 boxes, 13 digs each. Fill every box, then totals decide the claim.
The card
Nuggets (1s–6s): sum of that face. Fill the top to 63+ for a +35 Deep Vein Bonus.
Rough / Rich Cluster: 3-of / 4-of a kind → sum of all dice.
Matched Vein: full house → 25. Ore Seam: 4-in-a-row → 30. Deep Seam: 5-in-a-row → 40.
MOTHER LODE: all five alike → 50 (the natural strike). Pan Out: sum of all dice, anytime.
